About 4x6 - Cut scene [Spoiler]

I watched 4x6 yesterday and enjoyed it immensely but............ now that I think about it, there is a scene they did cut but was filmed in Pierrefonds by a fan:

What's happening here is that Merlin enchanted Elyan's weapon and is hoping for Arthur to die in training. That's why he's always pushing him to fight more knights, because he wants them to pick the weapon he enchanted....

Well sh*t! To think it took them almost a whole day to film this! And yeah, no shirtless Gwaine :o(
Thank you so much for mentionning that cut scene. I did think watching the episode that it was weird that Merlin wasn't trying to use magic to kill Arthur.

Oh no!!! I was so looking forward to that. Maybe they'll be able to squish it into another episode somewhere or have it as a deleted scene in the DVD.

I'm quite relieved they cut that. I'm hoping they're cutting the 'everyone beating up on Merlin' bit people have seen filming for too.

Hum... Actually that scene is relevant in the "Lamia" episode, but there's a good readon for it, so it's okay. I still don't want to see it though.

God I really need Merlin to reveal his magic, kick Arthur and the knights somewhere painful and high tail it out of Camelot to start a new and awesome life flying around on dragons and raising baby Aithusa :D :D That would suit be fine.

Oh god, what a wonderful scene! Thank you for sharing!! Even though this scene got cut in the end I love how involved the knights are in this series <3

I was so sad when I realised this got cut! I'd been waiting for this scene all summer!!

Here's hoping it makes the DVD release (they've been pretty good about deleted scenes the last few series).

Yes, I knew they cut it out, because I was waiting for it the whole episode *sighs* Marie told us, it was for ep 6.

I think they cut it out, because evil!Merlin was using magic... I think they decided later on that he wouldn't use magic while possessed by that thing. Still, it's such a shame! ;o) I really hope they'll put it on the DVDs as a deleted scene, I mean, they spend an entire day on that scene. ^^

I think it is logical that if evil Merlin can use magic, he won't hide it and it will be very easy to kill Arthur with Merlin's power.

Maybe it's also because Morgana doesn't kno about Merlin's magic so can't induce magical killing thought in him?
