It's of these recs I'm surprised not to find in my rec list every time I look at it, and then I don't rec it because I'm doing something or any oter bad reason. It's been camping in my REC folder for ages. It's a Arthur/Merlin Modern AU - Harry Potter Crossover.

Meeting the Minister, followed by A Ministerial Appointment, followed by Prime Minister's Questions, followed by A Typical Day at the Ministry, followed by Minister Merlin's Fail Safe Chat-Up Line, followed by A Ministerial Scandal, followed by Minister Merlin discovers the Joy of Text, by [livejournal.com profile] magog_83 ; PG ; 8 Parts so far ; around 22k words overall
A/S:  Written for this brilliant prompt on [livejournal.com profile] kinkme_merlin, The new Muggle Prime Minister meets the Minister for Magic.
In a way, I think that all the titles and the summary are comments enough to let you guess what this is all about. This is a wonderful wonderful piece of silliness and fluff. Merlin is adorable and clumsy and very ignorant of Muggles ways and still very powerful and I pity Hermione for having to deal with his antics! Arthur is uptight and serious and not-so-secretly head over hell his magical counterpart (you can excuse him, Merlin has the most adorable wooing techniques!). This fill is amazing and makes you laugh a smile and it's perfect for good and bad days.

Here's the come-back of a fic I recced a while a go and I won't stop reccing. It's Merlin/Arthur Modern AU and there's a new sequel \o/


No Business Like Show Business by [livejournal.com profile] lady_ragnell  ; PG-13 ; One-Shot
A/S : In which Merlin is promoted from production intern to talent, is easily mortified, and has Post-It arguments with Arthur while the art department watches in glee. Also, there are gay dragons.
A wonderful, wonderful fic, where Merlin and Arthur are the voices of cartoon characters for a popular (gay friendly) tv show. This is a whole lot of fun. And there's also a sequel No People Like Show People where they discover fanfictions and fanarts, and this is really great !
Edit (Oct. 2011): There's new a new sequel: Get That Happy Felling
Edit 2 (Nov. 2011): another sequel has been added! It's called Stealing That Extra Bow and it's maybe the cutest part of this verse (is that possible?)

As you may know if you read some of my recs, I absolutely love [livejournal.com profile] lady_ragnell's works. And this one is no exception. It's about what Ygraine would think of what happened during the twenty first years of Arthur's life, while she was away, how she can change things after she came back, and how it'd affect everyone and everything. It's a wonderful story.

Actually I'm writing two posts at the same time. One is an update of my travel, the other one is this rec. This is a fic I read a long time ago, and for some reason I stumbled on it today and remembered how much I loved it. I'm in a Canon Era mood, lately, so you can expect more of those... It's a Merlin/Arthur Canon Era, then:

Forsaking All Others, by [livejournal.com profile] magog_83 ; PG ; One-Shot ; 5894 words
A/S : Merlin goes home to Ealdor for two weeks and Arthur is not at all bothered by this. No really, he isn’t. Assumes kind of established relationship (as in, Arthur’s about to find out just how established it is).
This fic is Arthur-centric and wonderfully so. It tells us how besotted he is and how oblivious he insists to be about that, and how all the castle is aware of this. And there's an onion. All in all this is an incredibly endearing fic, with a very convincing Arthur and you end up with a big grin on your face. It can mend your heart even if it does't need mending...
